Complete Avulsion of the Nipple-Areolar Complex Treated by One-Stage Reconstruction Using a Graft In Situ

Background: Cases of complete avulsion the Nipple-Areolar Complex (NAC) due to trauma are rare. The avulsed NAC can be replanted in situ if vessels and nerves were anastomosed appropriately. However, this type surgery is more complex, requires longer operation times surgeon with training experience anastomosis small vessels. We looking for a simple effective method, which widely used. Case Presentation: reported 19-year old girl whose left had been completely by accident. used one-stage reconstruction modify as tissue graft situ. After 24 months, reconstructed nipple showed similar appearance right. In addition, patient high satisfaction her breast appearance. Discussion: Tissue might simple, safe reliable surgical procedure post-avulsion transplantation.
